Addaction Cornwall are currently looking for a Recovery Coordinator to join our busy and dynamic team in St Austell. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, In return we can offer you a full time equivalent salary of: £19,125 - £22,300, in addition to an employee benefits programme.

Working as a part of our Cornwall team you will be there to help our clients address their substance misuse issues. Acting as both supporter and facilitator, you’ll provide support and information as well as drawing up care plans for individuals to assist them through and beyond the challenges they face, and work with them to make positive changes.

You'll need to have excellent listening skills, balanced with a team-orientated and proactive attitude, as well as demonstrable experience in a health, social care or criminal justice setting with an awareness of prescribing procedures.

Addaction is looking to recruit an experienced Project Worker to support its Specialist Harm Reduction Service in Fife. The service provides a holistic, accessible service for people experiencing drug or alcohol related harm. The majority of service users will be looking to access low threshold services such as needle exchange, Naloxone supply, wound care, BBV information and advice on drugs and alcohol addiction issues.

You role will be to help clients address their substance misuse issues. Acting as both supporter and facilitator, you'll draw up recovery plans to assist them through and beyond the challenges they face, and work with them to make positive changes.

You'll need excellent listening skills, balanced with a team-orientated and proactive attitude, as well as demonstrable experience in a health, social care or criminal justice setting.

This is a fixed term post as the contract is due to expire on 31 March 2015.

A Project Worker is required for a six-month period to develop Fife's Take Home Naloxone Programme in partnership with NHS Fife's Naloxone Co-ordinator.

Ideally the successful applicant will be a registered nurse who can train and supply Naloxone to identified individuals at risk of opiate overdose.
Alternatively the post is open to applicants who hold a minimum of level SVQ3 and who have been trained as Naloxone trainers.

Due to the time constraints and nature of the work, the successful applicant will be expected to hold the necessary skills and experience to develop the programme alongside the NHS Co-ordinator with the minimum of supervision.

Although this post is fixed for six months there maybe opportunities for extension depending on future funding

A strong collaboration between Addaction & EDP has resulted in the successful partnership - RISE Devon and we are currently looking to recruit a Breaking the Cycle Worker to join our busy and dynamic North Devon team. The working hours for this position are 37.5 hours per week, 9-5, Monday – Friday with flexibility to work evenings and weekends. In return we can offer you a full time equivalent salary range of £21,282 - £26,130 per year.

Based in Barnstaple you will be there to work with children and families where there is a problem with drug and/or alcohol use from a wide range of cultural back grounds. As well as this you will also act as a point of contact for families, workers and agencies. And to develop an evidenced based treatment package to support families to break the cycle.

For this role you’ll need to have enhanced knowledge of safeguarding children and relevant legislation and knowledge of alcohol issues and their impact upon children, young people, parents, carers and families. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to work on your own initiative.
